Modern Slavery Statement 2024/25
Modern slavery is a violation of fundamental human rights and will not be tolerated at Medinet Clinical Services.
This crime is present in a multitude of forms, such as: slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced & compulsory labour. Each of which demonstrates the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. We are committed to working ethically and with integrity in all we do, improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.
This Statement applies to all employees; directors, managers, consultants and office workers. As well as third-party representatives, and business partners. We expect the same high standards from other businesses and organisations we work alongside. Medinet takes full responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all our employees comply with this as well as monitoring its use and effectiveness, dealing with any queries about it, and auditing internal control systems and procedures to ensure they are effective in countering modern slavery.
Our management staff are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with this policy. To prevent, detect and report any forms of modern slavery is the responsibility of all employees at Medinet, we ask that employees alert their line manager or Company CEO as soon as possible if they have witnessed or suspect that a conflict with this policy has been or will potentially be breached as soon as possible. For those unsure about whether a particular act, treatment, or certain working conditions constitutes to any of the various forms of modern slavery, then this again must be raised with their line manager or company CEO.
Reporting any incidents over the suspicion that modern slavery may be taking place at Medinet is incredibly important and we are committed to ensuring no one suffers any unfair treatment as a result of this. This includes dismissal, disciplinary action, threats or other unfavourable treatment connected with raising a concern. If someone believes that they or someone else has suffered such treatment, we ask that they inform their line manager immediately.
