The Role
As Vetting & Compliance Team Leader, you will:
- Be directly responsible for the management of the team delivering administration of basic pay and HR queries.
- Develop and performance manage staff within the function via the Medinet Performance Framework.
- Deliver a compliance level of in-service staff using our Credentially platform.
- Ensure that all in service staff with compliance gaps are communicated with to ensure that we obtain up to date information.
- Measure and report across a number of KPIs/OKRs in relation to staffing compliance and time to hire.
- Manage policies around recruitment, vetting, onboarding and staffing compliance.
The Person
We’re looking for a candidate who is:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a personnel screening/compliance role including hands-on involvement in background checks, credentialing, and compliance management processes.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of managing a team of administrative staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and support, and driving performance improvements.
- In-depth understanding of vetting and compliance management of professional services personnel, particularly within clinical settings.
- Expert knowledge of statutory compliance requirements for employers regarding right to work, ID verification, and residency checks, demonstrated through practical experience and adherence to legal guidelines.
